Requirements:

students under consideration for admission
to any of the GCC Campuses must be
either a high school graduate or have
an equivalent thereof (GED) and... |

be
beyond the age of compulsory school
attendance (16 years of age). |
Nondiscrimination:
GCC Campuses, in its admission,
instruction, and graduation policies, does not discriminate
on the basis of race,
sex, religion, handicap, creed, color, national origin,
ethnic origin, age, marital status and military status.
Transfer Students:
GCC Campuses will accept hours obtained from other
cosmetology schools. Acceptance of any transfer hours
will be at the discretion of GCC Campuses. Upon successful
completion of a practical review, GCC Campuses will
issue a credit against the student's tuition charge
when the notarized transfer hours are received in the
Director's office. GCC Campuses will honor transfer
student kits on an individual basis. Transfer students
will be required to have their kits assessed by an
GCC Campuses representative prior to enrollment and
if additional supplies are deemed necessary, transfer
students will be charged for only the additional items
needed. Students will be given credit for previous
training as it applies to the course.

GCC Campuses are committed to assisting in the placement
of every graduate student seeking employment, not only
upon graduation, but also during their entire career
in the beauty industry. We cannot and will not, guarantee
you a job, but we are always willing to assist you
in placement.
